Nursery and Reception Admissions for September 2020

We hope this finds you and your family safe and well. Due to the current situation we are unable to operate our usual admissions process, however we do not want you to worry about this. We will be in touch at the beginning of June with further information regarding starting school in September and to arrange a time convenient to yourselves when Miss Round (EYFS Manager) would be able to have a chat via telephone prior to your child starting school. ‘Starting School’ packs have been sent to parents and carers of children on our admission lists.

On behalf of all the staff we would like to take this opportunity to welcome you to our happy school and we will look forward to meeting you soon.

Kind Regards

Miss T Round

EYFS Manager

Our Mathematics morning

We worked with our families to take part in a maths morning. We played games and took part in lots of activities. It was good fun and we got the chance to tell our grown ups about how we learn our numbers, combine sets and subtract. We are very clever.

Careers Day

We learnt a poem about different careers and talked about what we might like to be when we grow up

Computing Morning

We explored a range of computing activities for our computing morning including learning about how to stay safe online and an e-safety song from Smartie the Penguin, talking about #freetobeme, exploring different voice recorders and using a range of electronic toys. It was a great morning!

Our trip to the shops

We went to the shops to buy fruit to make our fruit salad. It was lots of fun. We had to choose the fruit we wanted and buy it from the shop keeper.

NUSTEM

We worked with Mel and Sonia from NUSTEM to create our own magnificent marble runs after reading the story ‘The Most Magnificent Thing’. The children demonstrated fantastic teamwork and problem solving skills when completing their runs.
