Remote Education/Home Learning

This section has been devised to support parents, carers and children to work from home.

Here you will find lots and lots of useful links to support home learning. Each class has a daily timetable in their class below to help you organise your child's day.

Seesaw will be used to upload your child's daily work (see section below). You will also find lots more information and documents to support you and your child on your child's class page. The websites have been divided into Foundation Stage, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2.

Seesaw is the main tool being used by our school to enable effective home learning. The following guidance has been produced to inform parents and carers of the expectations of staff.

  •  Staff will post a daily maths and a daily English activity.
  • KS1 will post a daily phonics activity and KS2 a daily GSP activity.
  • Reading will be allocated daily.
  • Staff will post a daily activity linked to topic or science work
  • The activities will continue to be posted to your child’s journal and again we encourage as many children as possible to engage with these activities.
  • Any comments made by parents/carers must only be in relation to activities set. If you have any urgent questions or queries you should email the school inbox at info@burradoncommunityprimary.org.uk.
  • Staff will respond to work submitted in a timely fashion, however, please be aware that staff are working from home or at school with key worker and vulnerable children so there may be a delay in receiving a response.
  • Please also note that in the event that a member of staff is affected by Covid19 or is unable to post activities for any other reason, we will endeavour to provide activities set by another member of staff
