Year 1 2019-2020

Year 1 2019-2020 1
Welcome to Miss Arkley's Class

Our Year 1 class are fun, vibrant and very hard working! We love practical activities and going outdoors! We are GoNoodle and Daily Mile champions!

A few things to remember -

PE lessons are on a Monday and Thursday. We are continuing with yoga on a Monday and gymnastics on a Thursday, so only indoor kit is needed this half term.

We are taking part in the Daily Mile. Please leave a pair of outdoor shoes in school everyday to change in to for the mile run.

Any questions please don't hesitate to see me! :-)

Autumn Term 1 Homework

This half term our topic is The Great Outdoors.  We are going to be exploring the outdoor areas that are close to us, like the woodland area and the year one area and it would be great if you could allow the children to explore their gardens and local parks.  There are some lovely activities for them to do in the homework pack.

The home work is given out at the beginning of term and is due in on 22nd October to give you the time to do each activity.  You could choose to do them weekly or bunched together.  Hopefully this will make it more manageable for you.

Thank you for your support!
